Refund Policy: Please inspect your tubers upon arrival. Refunds are only made in instances in which a tuber does not produce an eye. We do not provide refunds for tubers that rot or fail to thrive in their growing conditions, as much of that is at the mercy of Mother Nature. We do not provide refunds for dahlias that exhibit symptoms associated with disease (please read below about how we mitigate virus and gall in our dahlias).
A note about plant health: All stock has been inspected by the WA State Department of Agriculture during the growing season; we are a licensed nursery with the state of Washington. Throughout the growing season, we are vigilant about culling dahlias that do not look healthy; it is cost-prohibitive for us to test all of our stock for virus so we adhere to a “when in doubt, throw it out” policy. Our farm is open for u-picks in the fall; to maintain plant health, we require guests use our clippers and we disinfect clippers between each guest’s use. We release beneficial insects, and minimize weeds, to alleviate bug pressure. When dividing tuber clumps, we disinfect our clippers between each clump.
